The tour
Lebrón and Augsburger beat Galán and Chingotto after losing the first set 6-0. The third seeds lost the opening set in 23 minutes, then won the next two 6-2, 6-2 to reach Sunday's final. Padel Addict says it was the eighth meeting of the season between the pairs, and Galán and Chingotto now lead 5-3. It is Lebrón and Augsburger's first final since Málaga, and it means Galán will not win a title in Milan for the first time in the Premier Padel era. They are chasing their second title of the year after Brussels. Sources: Padel Addict (Spanish), FIP

Coello becomes the first player to reach 300 Premier Padel wins. He and Tapia beat Stupaczuk and Sanz 6-4, 6-3 in 1 hour 18 minutes, their third win over that pair after the finals in Rotterdam and Düsseldorf. It is their fourth final in a row, and they are chasing a 12th title together this season. Asked afterwards which footballer Tapia reminded him of, Coello told reporters it was Messi. Last year's Milan champions will face each other in the women's final. Sánchez and Ustero beat world number ones Brea and Triay 6-1, 6-4 in 1 hour 14 minutes to reach their fourth final in a row. Josemaría and González beat Düsseldorf champions Fernández and Calvo in three sets, on their second match point. Sánchez and Josemaría won the Allianz Cloud title together a year ago. A win would be a seventh title for Josemaría and González, who have not won since Valladolid, and a fifth for Sánchez and Ustero. Source: FIP

FIP tour

Riera and Bidahorria meet De La Rosa and Portilla, the only unseeded pair left. In the men's draw, Barahona and Piotto face Montiel and Santigosa, and Goenaga and Collado play Ruiz and López. Great Britain
AFP looks at the enthusiasm and the pushback around Britain's padel boom. The report notes the LTA's figures of more than a million players and about 2,000 courts, up from 870 courts at the end of 2024. It also covers London campaigns against turning skate parks and other community spaces into courts, including a failed bid to save a skate park in east London and an ongoing one in Bethnal Green. Campaigners object to noise, price and investor backing, while operators point to programmes for over-50s, women and newcomers. Source: Kuwait Times / AFP

New clubs
Ace Padel opens its fifth club, backed by a £500,000 loan. The Midlands operator opened in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, on Saturday, creating 13 part-time jobs. The loan comes from the British Business Bank's Midlands Engine Investment Fund II, through Frontier Development Capital. Ace Padel says it has also raised more than £2 million from private investors, plans clubs in Coventry, Sefton and Morpeth early next year, and aims for 50 courts by the end of 2027. Source: Bdaily
