What it does

Only paid bookings light a court

Lights come on a minute before a booking starts and go off two minutes after it ends. A court with no booking stays dark.

Per court, not per building

Each court is switched on its own, so a quiet Tuesday lights one court, not the whole hall.

Energy monitoring

See what each court's lights use and what every lit hour costs, alongside the bookings that paid for it.

Keeps going when the internet drops

Today's bookings are held on the controller at the venue, so the lights carry on following the schedule through a broadband cut.

Back on after a power cut

The controller restores the right state by itself within a couple of minutes. Nobody has to come in and reset it.

Works with what you have

Smart breakers for smaller sites, or a direct link to an existing lighting panel or PLC, commissioned remotely.

How it works

  1. ConnectYou create read-only booking access in your booking platform and we link it to your venue.
  2. FitYour electrician fits the controller and the switching, following our drawings and step-by-step guide.
  3. CommissionWe commission the system remotely and test every court against real bookings.
  4. DoneThe lights follow the bookings from then on, and your dashboard shows every change.

Questions operators ask

How much energy does booking-driven lighting save?

It depends on how your lights are run today. The saving comes from every hour a court is lit with nobody on it: evenings left on after the last booking, courts switched on in blocks, lights forgotten at close. Our dashboard shows each court's lit hours against its booked hours, so you see the difference in your own numbers.

Does it work with Playtomic?

Yes. Court Intel reads your Playtomic bookings with read-only access you create in Playtomic Manager. Playtomic makes that access available to clubs on its Champion or Master plans. We never write to your Playtomic account.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The controller keeps today's bookings at the venue, so lights keep following the schedule. It will not run on yesterday's data: a stale schedule is refused rather than trusted.

Can staff still switch lights manually?

Yes. Staff can switch any court from the dashboard, and every manual change is logged with the time.

What does it cost?

£39 a month for up to two courts, then £12 a month for each extra court, plus a £499 installation kit. A smart breaker, where a court needs one, is £43.86. Prices exclude VAT.
