Padel court automation for hotels and resorts

Guests and local members will pay to play padel. Keeping someone on the desk from 7am to 10pm to switch the lights and let them in is what costs money. Court Intel runs the courts from the bookings, so they earn while the leisure desk is closed.

£39a month for lighting on up to two courts, then £12 per court. Lights and door access from £99 a month. £499 installation kit.Book a demo

What it does

Open longer, staff the same

Early mornings and late evenings run from the bookings, not from the rota.

Guests let themselves in

A code on the keypad or a button on their phone opens the door during their slot. No queue at reception for a court key.

Lights only when they earn

Each court lights a minute before a paid booking and goes dark two minutes after it. Every switch is confirmed and logged.

Know what the courts earn

Occupancy by hour, revenue per court and an early warning when an hour you usually fill starts to slip, on the dashboard and in a weekly email.

One view across a group

Each hotel has its own dashboard and alerts, and court counts are priced across the whole group.

Keeps going when the internet drops

The day's bookings are held at the venue, so the lights and the door carry on through a broadband cut.

  4. RunThe courts follow the bookings from then on, and we are alerted if anything stops working.

Questions operators ask

Which booking systems does it work with?

Playtomic today, the platform most UK padel courts already use, including many hotel courts. If your courts book through another system, tell us which and we will say honestly whether we can connect to it and when.

Do we still need someone at the leisure desk?

Not for the courts. Many hotels keep the desk staffed at busy times and let the courts run themselves early and late. The dashboard, alerts and activity log are what let the team step away.

Can hotel guests and local members both use it?

Yes. Everyone on a booking gets in during that booking's slot, and your staff and coaches have a daily code.

Who installs it?

Your own electrician, following our drawings and step-by-step guide. We commission it remotely and test every court and door with your team.

What does it cost?

Lighting is £39 a month for up to two courts, then £12 a month per court. Lights and door access is £99 a month for up to two courts and one door. One-offs: £499 installation kit, £899 per door access pack, and £43.86 per smart breaker where a court needs one. Prices exclude VAT.
